Mammoth 2011 Trip Details
January 2-7, 2011 — Ski or Board at Mammoth Mountain for 5 days and 5 nights over Winter Break and get 1 unit of college credit. Improve your style and learn new techniques. All levels are welcome from 1st timers to shredders.
PE 118 - Intro to Snowboarding (1 unit, CSU/UC transferable)
PE 119 - Downhill Skiing (1 unit, CSU/UC transferable)

- Round-trip transportation from Santa Barbara

Transportation:
Travel from Santa Barbara to Mammooth Lakes is in three 15-passenger vans with one cargo van for all the gear. Travel time is usually between 7 and 8 hours.
Room Assignments:
Roommates are assigned at the Trip Orientation. These are subject to change based on needs.
Practice time on the mountain:
Practice time is valuable and strongly recommended. There will be ample amount of time to practice your skills.
Sunday departure:
All participants will meet at SBCC's La Playa Stadium for a prompt 8:00am departure.
Friday evening return:
We will return to SBCC between 11:00 pm and midnight.
Age requirement:
Participants must be 18 years or older.
Nightly Activities:
Nights are free-time, however most nights have optional activities that include dinner and entertainment. Typical entertainment activities include going to the movies, pool parties, and our last-night tradition, karaoke. We do, however, keep in mind that participants do need to be up early the next day and ready to be on the mountain for 6 hours of activity.

We have an arrangement with Command Performance/Fast Ski in Mammoth for discounted rentals.
